INVITATION TO TENDER
Tender for the Seychelles
National e-Passport (Biometric Passport) Solution
|
The Government of Seychelles intends to implement a National e-Passport (Biometric Passport) Solution and is inviting tenders for the provision of same, comprising the following:
-
Design and production of the e-Passport booklet;
-
Supply of the e-Passport software product / license;
-
Provision of the server hardware (& related hardware) requirements (server sizing) for
running the e-Passport solution in a fully protected manner. Onsite customization,
installation and implementation of the software that will constitute the
integrated e-Passport;
-
Onsite training of Department of Immigration and Civil Status staff in operating use the
e-Passport solution aligned to the operational business processes of the
different user groups
-
Interfacing of specific modules of the e-Passport solution to existing information
systems or equipment;
-
Training of in-house onsite IT personnel to provide 1st and 2nd level support for
the e-Passport Solution;
-
Provision of a 1-year Enterprise Level Support contract for e-Passport solution
after commissioning of the system.
Main Conditions:
-
The tender is open to all registered local and international suppliers with experience in
the implementation of an e-Passport Solution.
-
The bidder should be a certified (provide certified copy of business/company registration documents)
and a registered entity.

The bidder should have experience in the implementation of an e-Passport Solution in at least
one other country, which should be running satisfactorily for more than 5 years on the date
of submission of the bid. A letter of satisfactory performance from the Chief Executive Officer
or Administrative Director of the country’s Immigration Department in which it is running should
be enclosed along with the bid.

The bidder should be able to provide samples of the e-Passport booklet.

The bidder should be able to demonstrate the application software for the e-Passport
Solution at a location where it has implemented these systems, covering most of the
functionalities upon request.

Interested bidders are informed that bidding document shall be made available for collection or sent via e-mail as of
Thursday 24th October 2019 to Thursday 07th November 2019T. No bidding document shall be made available
past this deadline period.
A pre-tender meeting has been organized on Tuesday 12th November 2019 at 2.00pm at the STC Conference room, Latanier Road,
Victoria. It is important for all interested bidders to attend the pre-tender meeting.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) is supporting the Government of Seychelles to implement key reforms to improve the business enabling environment through strengthening competitiveness and promoting inclusive, sustainable and resilient economic growth under the Inclusive Private Sector Development and Competitiveness Program (IPSDC). Program implementation of the IPSDC will be supported through the provision of complementary technical assistance (TA), with funding from the Fund for African Private Sector Assistance (FAPA). The TA will focus on achieving an integral approach in MSME Development through among others establishing a referral platform between SEnPA and SBFA

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION - INDEPENDENT POWER PRODUCER FOR SOLAR ENERGY IN SEYCHELLES
The Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change (MEECC), through the Seychelles Energy
Commission (SEC), is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for interested parties to qualify
themselves for a future tender to secure an Independent Power Producer (IPP) for a PV plant (hereafter,
the Project).
