Where can I get a birth certificate?

The Civil Status Office is the only office that has the authority to issue birth certificate. If you were born in Seychelles you can obtain a copy of your birth certificate at Civil Status. Location: Central Office Independence House Ground Floor Victoria Mahe

What document I need to present?

Any document that would able to identify you, which have the National Identification Number (N.I.N) such as
• National Identity Card
• Passport
• Driving License

How much does it cost?

Both large extract of the certificate and an abridged copy can be obtained for Rs50/- each.

Who can apply?

Any person can obtain a birth certificate from the Civil Status office upon payment and required document.
